Purpose | The Austrian Integration Fund is a fund with its own legal personality whose activities are not for profit and which exclusively pursues charitable objectives for the purposes of Sections 34 to 47 of the Austrian Federal Tax Code (BAO). Its declared goal is the integration of individuals with a migration background into Austria, particularly where the federal government has provided laws, regulations or initiatives to that effect. The Fund promotes understanding and acceptance for integration within Austrian society. The Fund’s tasks to achieve this include in particular providing advice, information and support, language mediation, assistance with job searches and promoting dialogue for the common good. In exercising its tasks the Fund strives to promote networking at the European and international levels.
